Life- and Death- 128 Years Ago

Its not uncommon to stumble across an unmarked family plot in the woods.
This one is at the end of Pleasant Ridge Road. The most recent date I could make out was 1880. Hard to imagine the trials and tribulations these families faced so long ago.

These are from 4th of July 2006 on the Songo River rope swing. What a disappointment when they were cut down in 2008.

Just waiting for winter to arrive.

I think this spider is the one who needs the leash!
